Smoothie Week Challenge: Day Five

Home stretch! By the time I got to the refrigerator it was pretty easy to pull out what I needed and start, but when I was in the shower...all I could think about was how long it would take me to make cinnamon rolls from scratch. Sugar and cheap carbohydrates! It would be two steps back from my goal...I don't know what I was thinking. But here I am, sipping my brownish blue smoothie, listening to Monkey sip and chatter about his, and writing this post. I don't think I'll be brave enough for peanut butter or pumpkin puree this week...I guess I just prefer boring smoothies in the morning. :)
I put a LOT of spinach in this one. It would be seriously green but for the grace of frozen blueberries. ;)
I still want the cinnamon rolls. :P

Its okay to want cinnamon rolls. Just keep the greater goal in mind: You are building a healthy body, stewarding God's resource and temple, setting a good example for your children, and creating a good habit. One cinnamon roll is not going to completely sabotage that, but is it going to help your goal? (also, it sounds like your little boy would prefer his smoothie to a cinnamon roll anyway)
Maybe get a cinnamon scented candle so you can enjoy the aroma without the calories. :)
