Répondez S'il Vous Plaît

One of my favorite things about the last few weeks of preparing for our wedding was right after the invitations went out....and the rsvp's started coming in. Nearly every day another little batch would arrive in the mailbox, and I could add confirmations to our guest list. But my most favorite were the rsvp cards that had extra writing on them: a few words expressing anticipation or encouragement, a scripture verse, and even a picture or two! I loved those. Will's Wife sent me my favorite one, her excitement and love were evident. Ever since then, when I receive a wedding invitation with a reply card, I try to spice it up just for fun. So, a couple in our homegroup are getting married soon, we got the invitation today, and I felt inspired:

Next time you send a reply card, add a little something extra! And be disciplined to send it promptly. Late rsvp's can be an aggravation to your host. :)
