Good Stewardship: Washing The Washing Machine

It reeked. It was rank. It was a noxious vapor - the breath of rot and decay - that pervaded the washroom, lingering on our clothes....heaven forbid I opened the lid of the offending source. My trusty washing machine needed to brush its teeth, or something.

But I suppose that since my washing machine is an inanimate object, it can't do for itself, so today I made use of a Pinterest pin that I'd saved several months ago. On Good Thing by Jillee is one of my favorite go-to blogs for housekeeping things like this, and sure enough, she had a tutorial for top-loading washers and well as for front-loaders. Wanna see?? (I rate the squick-factor on par with cleaning drains and scrubbing behind a soda fountain - so you are hereby warned.)

I've never cleaned behind a soda fountain, so I have no squick factor for that...but it does look 1000000% better, PG.
