Fresh Blessings

It struck me today how very blessed I am to be able to fill my grocery cart with fresh produce when I go to the store. It's not just that it's available and of good quality, but that I can still afford it! In the midst of buying a new house and the increased cost of living (with not a pay raise in sight) I am very glad that the day has not yet come for me to have to be miserly about spending Husband's hard-earned money on fresh fruit. That day may be soon, but it is not today and I am so grateful for the abundance of grapes, bananas, nectarines, plums, oranges, and apples in my kitchen!
