So, I made sticky buns yesterday. Three reasons for this, the most important of which: I wished to. The other reasons were that there might be tasty things to eat during fellowship at homegroup and that my Momma wanted a picture of them for her blog - where you can also access the recipe for this particular scrumptiousness. Pictures!
I was thinking about butter yesterday. I love butter. Not that vegetable derivative that has some sort of oil that is split apart and then recombined to form some sort of "substitute" (have you ever read how they make the stuff?!)... oh, no. I mean real butter. Some day, perhaps, I will even go so far as to make my own from the cream of my own goats milk... for now I will buy it in bulk from Sam's Club. But I do love butter. On everything, with everything, cooked into everything! BUTTER!!!
It makes some good sticky buns, too. Can't do that with margarine.
