A Clothes Pin Keeper...

...this time for my brand new sister-in-law, who is hanging ALL their laundry and bravely foregoing the convenience of a dryer!

I made it out of (again) the cotton I had at hand. I will admit right now that I have not seen the appeal of seersucker, never sewn with it, and never wanted to. (Sorry, Meredith!) I had some in my stash that was given to me and that's what Anna picked, along with a pretty white eyelet fabric for lining. I found some eyelet lace to go along with it - I cut it away from its gather tape and ironed it flat to use as a trim, as you'll see. So, first time sewing seersucker, and though I don't fully understand the affinity some have for it, I appreciate the simple and pretty effect it makes (especially in combination with the eyelet.)
