A Week in Pictures

I have a moment, so I can show you what's been going on at the Little House:

The Steward plants and waters the early garden - broccoli, cauliflower, and brussel sprouts.

I am continually grateful for such a hard working husband.
He plowed and tilled the garden in no time flat.

I am beginning a tutorial on How To Cook In And Generally Care For Cast Iron Pans,
for a certain friend who has a certain husband who particularly likes cooking with cast
iron, but doesn't because his wife isn't comfortable with them yet. Yet. ;) 

Sometimes the only way to keep him happy AND wash the dishes is to strap him into
the carrier. And sometimes, if I am very lucky, he falls asleep. Unfortunately, he seemed to
be about breaking his neck....

....So Husband unsnapped him and carried him to the couch to finish his nap.

FRIED CHICKEN! (Does this one need an explanation?) Actually, it's another entry
in the Cast Iron Tutorial. And dinner. :)

Momma, this one is just for you. I was about to tumble into bed one night,
and this creature was staring at me from the window blinds. I hope he isn't
poisonous, because I let him go.... and found him again in the living room today.
O.o

Eating crackers is a messy business.
