Homemade Liniment Oil

I feel old. I'm just not the spry twenty-one-year-old that I was! Plus, this is my third pregnancy in almost as many years...let's just say that even as my body is growing new life I am experiencing the effects of decay and brokenness.

I sprained my wrist.

Or something like it. It might have had something to do with coring and cutting up sixteen cups of jalapeƱo peppers for Old Mill Relish. And four cups of red peppers. And sixteen cups of onions.

Whatever is was, it made for a puffy, stiff, painful wrist. I iced it, braced it, babied it....but I wanted something for pain and inflammation, so I made up a batch of my own liniment oil to sooth it! I've been learning about essential oils and their uses, and while I don't know as much as I'd like (what is it with the EO Community loving Helichrysum italicum for pain and healing?) I can use the oils I know to make a few things that I need. Add homemade liniment oil to the list:

Homemade Liniment Oil

10 drops Lavender Essential Oil
5 drops Peppermint Essential Oil
5 drops Roman Chamomile
4 drops Tea Tree Essential Oil
1 Tablespoon Coconut Oil
