A Clean House and Plans for Produce

After weeks and weeks of tiredness/nausea (and quick cleaning) on my part, my house is finally clean. The Steward had the day off today, so we both tackled it together. I dusted and vacuumed and cleaned the floors, he scrubbed every last surface of the bathroom with some form of cleaner or other. Bleach was used in force. And here's a trick for old wood paneling: wipe it down with Old English wood cleaner (not polish) - it makes it look very tidy and not quite so musty/dirty/old.

I have yet to finish the laundry, but it's early yet.

Around this time of year I begin to feel the pull of cabin fever, and I begin to wish and plan for spring. This year though, perhaps I wouldn't mind if it took it's time just a bit - because when spring and summer come, so does baby, and I am not quite ready for that!

But I am planning, not only for baby - The Steward says he will put in a garden for me! So my mind is busy with what I will want in it, and how much.

Here are some of my favorites:

Pink Eye Purple Hull Peas

Butter Beans

(Hee hee - so cute!)

Of course, there should be tomatoes, corn, squash, cucumbers, perhaps melons, and some flowers for the house. I wonder if I'll be able to weed when my belly gets more round?
